Banijay Kids & Family Appoints Roubina Tchoboian as Head of Global Licensing

Banijay Kids & Family is expanding its commercial division with the appointment of Roubina Tchoboian as the new Head of Global Licensing. In this role, Tchoboian will lead efforts to enhance the licensing portfolio for the division's intellectual properties (IP), which includes popular titles such as Totally Spies!, Shasha & Milo, and Topo Gigio. She joins Banijay from Cloudco Entertainment, where she held the position of VP of International Licensing.
During her tenure at Cloudco, Tchoboian played a crucial role in establishing international partnerships for renowned IPs like Care Bears and Holly Hobbie. Her extensive experience also includes roles within the sales teams at Zodiak Rights and Sky.
Tchoboian will report directly to Delphine Dumont, the Chief Commercial Officer of Banijay Kids & Family. Dumont expressed her enthusiasm for Tchoboian's appointment, highlighting her proven track record in developing creative and successful global licensing programs, particularly for major properties. Dumont believes Tchoboian's expertise will be pivotal in driving growth in this area as Banijay continues to diversify its commercial ventures for its extensive IP portfolio.
Tchoboian shared her excitement about joining Banijay Kids & Family, emphasising the wealth of premium, world-class children’s content the company offers. She cited the significant demand from young audiences to engage with their favourite shows beyond the screen, underscoring the immense potential for the portfolio. Tchoboian looks forward to expanding and fortifying the range of licensed products and experiences offered by Banijay Kids & Family.
