Philippines’ leading content provider, ABS-CBN, captured the attention and hearts of Vietnam and Africa’s audiences as they aired their most talked-about romantic series, 2 Good 2 Be True and He’s Into Her. By: Wee Yan Ling
Philippines’ leading broadcaster ABS-CBN continues to make their content available on a global scale as two of their most heated series, 2 Good 2 be True airs in Vietnam while He’s Into Her goes to Africa.
The romantic comedy series 2 Good 2 Be True, has been dubbed in Vietnam’s local language and is currently broadcasted on the pay TV channel, ONCINE on weeknights at 8PM.
Before its global launch, the series was famous on social media and consistently topped the streaming platform’s most-watched TV shows list. Kathryn acquired an award in the Seoul International Drama Awards 2023 (SDA) in the Outstanding Asian Artist category.
Other ABS-CBN titles made their way to the Vietnamese audience including Love in 40 Days and Marry Me.
He’s Into Her is well received in Africa and is being broadcasted in 41 Sub-Saharan countries such as Nigeria and Ivory Coast. The show featured breakout stars Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano.
This digital series has made waves as the most watched show on iWantTFC, topping Twitter’s trending charts and aired on StarTimes. This is testament to the impressive Filipino programming in over 50 territories and having sold over 50,000 hours globally.
