Child Actor Evan Ellingson, from My Sister's Keeper Passes Away at 35
Evan Ellingson, prominent for his role as Davd Caruso’s character’s son on CSI: Miami and his prominent appearance in the 2009 movie, My Sister’s Keeper has tragically passed on at the age of 35. By: Wee Yan Ling
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s coroner’s division reported that Ellingson was found lifeless in the bedroom at his California residence at 11:31 a.m. on Sunday, November 5. His cause of death is undetermined and autopsy has been scheduled.
Ellingson’s father has revealed his son’s struggles with addiction and passing at a sober-living facility.
Despite being absent from the screen for more than a decade, he had left an indelible mark on the small and silver screens. In CSI: Miami, he portrayed the son of David Caruso's Lt. Horatio Caine, and he also played the nephew of Kiefer Sutherland's iconic character, Jack Bauer, in 24.
Ellingson once remarked to The Philippine Star, "I never had the same [childhood] experience with my friends. I never had more time with them. However, my childhood was a cool one. I was busy doing the things I love."
