BBC Studios appoints Bartosz Witak for CEE Region
A former ViacomCBS executive is taking over as BBC Studios’ General Manager for the Central and Eastern Europe region.
Witak
spent 16 years at ViacomCBS, during which time he led teams in Warsaw,
Budapest, Prague, Tel Aviv, and London. He has spent the last four years as a
senior business advisor.
Commenting on his new role Bartosz said: “It is an honour to be entrusted with such a significant role. BBC Studios has an exceptional reputation and its commitment to producing and delivering high-quality content that resonates with audiences worldwide. I am excited about the prospect of joining an exceptional team, pooling our collective strengths to not only build upon the existing foundation but also to propel our global presence to new heights.”

Bartosz
will be based in Warsaw and will report into Arran Tindall, Chief Commercial
Officer, EVP, EMEA Key Markets.
