Description

A sequel to the two classic Ghostbusters movies and Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021), Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire sees the Spenglers return to the Ghostbusters firehouse headquarters in New York, teaming up with the original Ghostbusters to save the world from a threat that threatens to bring about a second ice age.

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire suffers from an overcrowded cast, with the new Ghostbusters, supporting cast and original Ghostbusters all being in the film, leading to instances where it feels like specific characters don’t have anything much to do, making the overall product pretty messy.

However, there are still great action scenes and comedic moments, so while the movie isn’t amazing, it isn’t terrible either, and could still be worth watching to some audiences, especially Ghostbusters fans, whom this movie is practically made for, given the amount of references and nostalgia found here.

Simply put: if you like the cast or the franchise, this movie is for you; if not, your mileage may vary with this one.

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire is out now in cinemas.
