Fox Strikes First Third-Party TV Deal
'Billion Dollar Playground' rights have been taken by Fox Entertainment Global with show soon launching on Binge in Australia.
Cannes - FOX Entertainment Global (FEG) has secured the
worldwide tape and format distribution rights for the upcoming Australian
docu-soap, Billion Dollar Playground. Produced by Ronde Media, the show
offers a glimpse into the opulent world of homestays through the eyes of
Luxico’s global staff, who cater to the needs of international guests while
navigating their own relationships. FEG will distribute eight one-hour episodes
of the program outside of Australia, along with representing international
format rights. The show is set to premiere on Foxtel’s streaming platform Binge
this summer.
