Sports streaming service DAZN has retained its media rights to NBA in Germany, in an agreement renewal with the professional basketball league. By: Dylan Low
The
sports entertainment platform will screen more than 200 NBA games live, which
is inclusive of the recently added in-season tournament NBA Cup, the NBA
Playoffs and the NBA Finals.
The
NBA’s own all-day linear channel, NBA TV will also continue to be accessible to
DAZN subscribers. With this offering, viewers can watch everyday studio
coverage, features and individual live games with the original US commentary.
DAZN
first started collaborating with the NBA back in 2016 to broadcast games from
the popular US basketball league in Germany. DAZN’s Super Sports offering in
Germany which showcases the NBA is priced at €19.99 per month.

DAZN
showcases US sports in Germany with broadcast of the NFL, the NBA, NCAA college
football along with college basketball comprising March Madness and chosen MLB
baseball games through the linear channel MLB Network. The sports streamer also
presents handball from the EHF Champions League, darts, golf, martial arts
in organisations UFC and PFL, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Women’s Champions
League, Bundesliga, Frauen-Bundesliga, LaLiga, Serie A and Ligue 1.
