Korean Mystery Drama Wonderful World Premieres on Disney+
In an enthralling tale of vengeance and resilience, Korean mystery drama Wonderful World is set to grace the screens of Disney+ audiences from March 1. By: Wee Yan Ling
After
a successful career that saw Eun Soohyun climb to the top of her field as a
professor of psychology and a household name as a writer, she is brought
crashing back to earth following the death of her son at the hands of others.
Driven into a spiralling depression, Soohyun becomes consumed by one thought –
revenge.
Wonderful
World boasts a stellar cast and is penned by Kin Jieun
and directed by Yi Seungyoung who is known for their works in renowned projects
including Lie After Lie, and Voice 2. The drama unfolds as
Soohyun crosses paths with Gwon Seonyul, which is portrayed by Cha Eunwoo from True
Beauty and A Good Day to be a Dog.
The Korean series joins the impressive lineup of
award-winning content on Disney+ as Moving, a story of South Korean
spies protecting their super-powered children, and The Worst of Evil, a
fast paced crime thriller featuring a police officer infiltrating a dangerous
gang; as well as an extensive library of APAC originals and beloved
international movies and shows.
