Forget femme fatale or saving the princess, Charlie's Angels can take care of themselves and are the ones doing the saving. They are highly trained private investigators who work for Charlie. They can handle everything from state-of-the-art vehicles and gadgets. The trio can even take on their biggest enemies whether flying in the air, scuba diving in the seas or using their martial arts on land. It's been twenty years since the film's debut, let's see where are they now.

Cameron Diaz

Also known as Natalie Cook in the film, Cook stepped away from the acting scene in 2014 and announced her retirement in 2018. After an eight-year hiatus, she started working alongside Jamie Foxx for a Netflix movie, Back In Action. However, she stated that she did not miss the long hours of filming as it took time away from her daughter.

“These back-to-back 10-hour workdays have been a lot on her and she hates being away from Raddix,” a source close to Diaz told The Daily Mail.

Drew Barrymore

Barrymore continued to remain as a renowned figure in Hollywood and had diversified her career. Branching into the producer and television host role.

She launched her own The Drew Barrymore Show back in 2020 and gained traction swiftly. The show has been nominated for five Emmys and her hosting abilities were highly revered. The third season had just wrapped filming this April and they are renewing their fourth season this September.

However, the renowned star landed herself in a sticky situation surrounding her talk show in September. This is due to her choice to continue with the production of the show amidst the Hollywood actors and writers strikes.

As a result, the National Book Foundation were dismayed and withdrew their support for Barrymore, ceasing to host the National Book Awards in November. In addition, the Writer Guild of America accused her of crossing the line and undermining the Hollywood workers’ solidarity. Barrymore pulled out as the host of the MTV Movie & TV Awards in May however it led to the repercussions of the event being cancelled.

Lucy Liu

The actress for the intelligent and graceful Alex Munday, Liu had remained her steady presence in the entertainment scene. Earlier this year, she was seen in the film, Shazam! Fury of the Gods as Kalypso. The movie premiered back on March 17.

She recently unveiled her upcoming video game project where she is the lead voice artist and co-executive producer. The Pirate Queen: A Forgotten Legend narrates the true story of Zheng Yi Sao where she went from being a poverty-stricken courtesan to the most formidable pirate known to mankind.
