Air details the enthusiastic personality of a man named Sonny Vaccaro, as he hustles to make the deal of his lifetime. With an objective to sign Michael Jordan – the number three draft pick at the time, the film showcases Air Jordan’s journey and society accomplishments to become the trending success they are today.

Directed by Ben Affleck, he does an incredible job making the drama similar to a light-hearted parody while showcasing a mastermind-centric perspective to recruit basketball legend Jordan.

It is a story which focuses on various concepts such as fashion, music, sports and athleticism themselves as a type of style and artistic expression, this film unpacks how the brand is marketed to consumers and spotlights the leadership of an expert like Sonny.

The movie consists of many dialogues fitting for a film centred on negotiations. The lines are delivered with flair and enthusiasm by the actors, which audiences will definitely be captivated to learn about the intricate details behind the brand’s global success.

A timeless underdog tale of grit, dreams and vigorous spirit, fans will certainly be able to enjoy this film regardless of their basketball knowledge in general. The storyline is made relatable to all viewers as well, consisting of nostalgic pop references which can be seen in the long opening film montage (Cabbage Patch Kids, Hulk Hogan and Princess Diana, etc.)
