Description

Documenting the UK stop of their first world tour, aespa LIVE TOUR 2023 SYNK : HYPER LINE, the concert film aespa: World Tour in cinemas sees the quartet consisting of Karina, Giselle, Winter and Ningning performing numerous fan-favourites at the O2 Arena in London, along with exclusive behind-the-scenes interviews.

For fans of aespa who have attended the tour, not much is new here, apart from the aforementioned interviews, and some UK-specific dialogue and interactions. Additionally, MYs (aespa’s fans) who enjoyed or joined the fandom as a result of aespa’s November 2023 hit song Drama should take note that the hip-hop song is absent from the setlist due to the tour wrapping up prior to the release of their mini album of the same name.

However, what’s here are plenty of aespa’s greatest hits, such as Black Mamba, Spicy and Next Level, along with solo performances by each of the four members. And if you need a warm-up, refresher or introduction to the group before their upcoming SYNK: Parallel Line world tour, aespa: World Tour in cinemas is a great way to familiarise yourself with the quartet and soak up the energy emanated by one of the hottest 4th generation K-pop girl groups.

aespa: World Tour in cinemas opens April 10 in Korea and Japan, then worldwide on April 24.
