Filmed between August 4 and 6 2023 at KSPO Dome in Seoul, SUGA | Agust D TOUR ‘D-DAY’ THE MOVIE documents the final three nights of the first solo tour by Suga of the legendary K-pop group BTS.
SUGA | Agust D TOUR ‘D-DAY’ THE MOVIE is a film aimed at devoted ARMY (BTS fans) who are familiar with the work of Agust D, Suga’s solo persona. Though BTS songs like Life Goes On are performed during the tour, the setlist is very much filled with Agust D songs, so the film may not be the best starting point for newcomers interested in BTS. However, if you’re a hardcore ARMY who missed out on the tour or simply want to relive the memories, this film is for you.
Additionally, the film features special performances by Jung Kook, Jimin and RM of BTS, who were surprise guests during Nights 1, 2 and 3 of the tour’s finale respectively, sweetening the deal for fans of BTS. Overall, while the film may not have the broad appeal of past BTS films featuring the whole group, there is plenty here that will keep the most devoted fans entertained, and it is evident that Suga has given his all during this tour.
