Mark Rigolle Appointed CEO of ABS

Mark Rigolle has been appointed CEO of Agility Beyond Space, effective from 29 April 2024. By Ching Wai.

Dubai - Agility Beyond Space, or ABS, has announced the appointment of Mark Rigolle as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective from 29 April this year. Rigolle will be based in ABS’ office in Dubai, UAE.


Rigolle had previously held positions with GEO, MEO and LEO satellite operators in different roles, such as executive, non-executive, advisor, and co-founder. More specifically, Rigolle had been CFO of SES, CEO of O3b Networks, co-founder of Kacific, CEO of LeoSat, CEO of KLEO Connect, and most recently COO of Rivada Space Networks. His responsibilities covered satellite and space development projects across Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.


With a master’s degree in economics from the University of Leuven, Belgium, and fluency in English, French and Dutch, Rigolle boasts a wealth of education and knowledge on top of his experience.

Rigolle said, “I am very excited to join ABS at this pivotal time for the company and indeed the whole FSS industry. ABS is uniquely positioned to demonstrate how the sector can return to growth after many years of contraction.
