Saudi Film Festival Returns for its 10th Edition

The 10th edition of the Saudi Film Festival is
currently underway at the King Abdulaziz World Cultural Centre (Ithra) in
Dhahran. This exciting event, which began on May 2, will continue until May 9,
2024. During the festival, 76 film screenings are scheduled, featuring 53 new
titles across various categories, including short films, features, and
documentaries.
If you’re a film enthusiast, this is a fantastic opportunity
to immerse yourself in Saudi cinema and explore the diverse range of films
being showcased at Ithra. The festival promises a week filled with cinematic
experiences, workshops, and seminars, with screenings taking place from 2:00 PM
to 11:00 PM each day.
Ithra Theater, located within the King Abdulaziz
Center for World Culture (commonly known as Ithra), is a cultural center
situated in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. Since opening its doors in 2018, Ithra
Theater has established itself as Saudi Arabia’s premiere theater program and
venue for cross-cultural and multi-disciplinary productions. It serves as a
platform for works that push creative boundaries across various disciplines of
the performing arts.
