Studio 100 Film Lands Global Distribution Deal for Miss Moxy

Germany's Studio 100 Film and Phanta Animation from the Netherlands announced their partnership for the adventure comedy movie Miss Moxy. Production began in February 2023, with delivery scheduled for the end of 2024. By Wee Yan Ling

Studio 100 Film, a subsidiary of Studio 100 Media, acts as international sales agent and will present the movie at the upcoming American Film Market in Santa Monica.

In this Heartwarming 85-Minute Family Feature, ‘Miss Moxy’ a domesticated cat gets lost during a summer holiday in Southern France. She then ignites a captivating odyssey across Europe, with the companionship of a dim-witted dog and an aged bird. As her journey unfolds, she goes through a change in perspective in life and discovers the real meaning of friendship. This touching narrative is based on a true story in which a tabby cat named Boo found its way back home after 13 years. Miss Moxy has been adapted and written for the screen by Maureen Versprille. The directors are Vincent Bal ("The Zigzag Kid") and Wip Vernooij.

The project is financed in association with Paradiso Filmed Entertainment, Netherlands Film Fund, Netherlands Film Production Incentive, Flanders Audiovisual Fund (VAF) of the Government of Flanders, Screen Flanders, Avrotros, Belgian Tax Shelter, and co-funded by the European Union - Creative Europe Media.
