On The Edge Productions and Studio 100 Media announced they are working together to create the upcoming movie On the Edge: Donnie Dares! with Viva Kids joining as co-producer. By: Dylan Low
Pre-production for the upcoming adventure and comedy film has begun, with the movie soon to release in late 2026. Studio 100 Film will be directing international sales and will launch the project at this year's AFM in Santa Monica.
Joining the project will be Emmy winner and Head Writer Michael Ryan, who has contributed to projects such as Scooby-Doo and Guess Who? Kung Fu Panda: The Paws of Destiny, Wolfboy Everything Factory, and many more. For visual & story development is Creative Director Archie Donato from Jellyfish Pictures, with over 17 years of experience at Dreamworks and played a part in many studios’ popular films consisting of Shrek Forever After, Kung Fu Panda, and Megamind.
The film’s production team is led by Executive Producers Beth Blood and Karen Vermeulen from On the Edge Productions Ltd, alongside Martin Krieger from Studio 100 Media, and Victor Elizalde from Viva Kids. The team will also comprise producers Thorsten Wegener from Studio 100 Media, Laura Prieto, and Mayank Jhalani from Viva Kids.

Martin Krieger, Executive Producer and CEO of Studio 100 Media also mentioned “We were fascinated by On the Edge's mission to change the status quo in our world in an entertaining way and emotionally connecting people with nature. A true challenge that we would also like to take up.”
