Real Housewives' Shannon Beador Sentenced after Hit-And-Run Incident

Reality TV personality Shannon Beador, known for her role on "The Real Housewives of Orange County," has been handed a three-year probation and community service sentence in connection with a DUI incident. By: Wee Yan Ling

Shannon Beador, famous for her reality show The Real Housewives of Orange County, has been sentenced to a three-year probation as well as a 40-hour community service sentence after her arrest for an alleged DUI hit-and-run incident that happened back in September. The sentence mandates Beador to complete a nine-month alcohol program as a result.

On top of the community service and probation, Beador is required to fork out the restitution for the damage of property attributed to the incident. Which she has already fulfilled. The legal actions were prompted by the Orange County District Attorney which includes 30 days of imprisonment.

Shortly after her sentencing, Beador is once again facing charges for two misdemeanours presented by the Orange County District Attorney's office for driving under the influence and committing a hit-and-run. The charge was dismissed during the hearing. This decision came in the wake of an incident that took place last month.

It was reported that Beador’s blood alcohol level was at 24 which surpassed the legal limit by three times when tested at the time of her arrest. Beador was apprehended on September 17 after fleeing the scene of the damaged property she damaged. Beador is booked on two misdemeanour charges, hit-and-run, and DUI alcohol and was released on citation by the NDPD.
