Keke Palmer Files Restraining Order

Actress Keke Palmer seeks legal protection against ex-boyfriend Darius Jackson, alleging instances of physical violence, emotional abuse, and threats. By: Wee Yan Ling

Keke Palmer has filed for a temporary restraining order against her ex-boyfriend, Darius Jackson, 29. She has cited allegations of physical and emotional abuse. The legal action is also in conjunction with Palmer’s plea for the sole legal and physical custody of their 8-month-old son.

Court documents obtained related instances of physical violence, such as the destruction to personal property, throwing belongings into the street as well as physically abusing Palmer in front of their child. Verbal abuse and threats of self-harm with machinery was also touted if Palmer leaves him. Despite the end of the relationship, footage reveals Jackson trespassing into her property and attacking her.

Palmer revealed that the abuse has continued even after the breakup and is now seeking for a 52-week batterer intervention program.

The mistreatment was initiated in June 2021 and the ending of their relationship has escalated the behaviour as he poses a threat to both mother and son.

Jackson has tweeted a picture of him and the child expressing his love and a potential reunion soon.
