Be-Entertainment Secures Global Distribution for Celebrity Farmsitters

Be-Entertainment takes the reins in international Distribution for roses are Blue's Celebrity Farmsitters, offering viewers a unique blend of rural reality and celebrity adventures. By: Wee Yan Ling

Celebrity Farmsitters is produced by Roses are Blue and the show is scheduled for premier on VTM in Belgium in early December. The series aims to bring audiences a novel twist to the world of rural reality.

The factual entertainment format will send farmers on a well-deserved break. This is when the celebrity Farmsitters come in to fill in the role! There will be a feature of a different celebrity for each episode as they take over a different farm. 

From cultivating soil to grow crops, to raising livestock and selling products, the celebrities must learn to step out of their comfort zone and learn about farm life and food production! They spend the night in the farm sitter caravan and reminisce by the campfire as they open up and get personal with the audience. 

Gepke Nederlof, MD Be-Entertainment, says: “Farmers all over the world have one thing in common: it’s virtually impossible for them to take a vacation and leave their farms behind. This new format offers farmers a rare opportunity to take a break from their hard work on the farm. Celebrity Farmsitters was created and produced by Roses are Blue, the successful makers behind the escape room format ‘The Way Out’ and the uncomplicated family entertainment show ‘The Big Bang’.
