Ten New Episodes of Bluey Arrive on Disney+ in January

Ten all-new episodes of the trending hit series Bluey is slated to premiere in January 12, 2024 in Singapore and worldwide on the Disney+ platform. By: Dylan Low

SINGAPORE - Known as 2023’s #1 most-viewed series for preschoolers and kids in the US, Bluey has also led Nielsen streaming charts for overall viewership. The popular show highlights the loveable and ever-energetic Blue Heeler dog Bluey, living together with her Mum, Dad and little sister Bingo.

In the ten new Disney+ episodes, Bluey depicts the happiness in simplicity that can be found in families, such as turning daily commodities of family life – like creating a cubby house (blanket fort) or a trip to the beach -- into fun yet interesting adventures that showcase how children learn and mature through entertainment.

Further into the year 2024, Disney+ viewers can expect more new Bluey content, as the Bluey special edition episode titled "The Sign," will screen on ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) in Australia and available internationally on Disney+. This 28-minute showcase is written by Bluey creator Joe Brumm and directed by Richard Jeffery from Ludo Studio.

Commissioned by both ABC Children's and BBC Studios Kids & Family, Bluey was made and written by Joe Brumm, with its production company being multi-Emmy® Award-winning Ludo Studio, partnering with Screen Queensland and Screen Australia. The acclaimed series is available worldwide on platforms like Disney Channel, Disney Junior and Disney+, via a global broadcasting agreement by BBC Studios Kids & Family and Disney Branded Television.

Bluey has gained much traction, achieving honours such as the International Kids Emmy Awards, a Critics Choice Award nomination, the Television Critics Association Award, BAFTA Children & Young People Awards, etc.
