Casey Kramer has passed away at the age of 67. The actress had breathed her last on December 24 at her residence in Chicago, Illinois. Her cause of death has yet to be disclosed by her family.

Kramer had marked her cinematic debut in her father’s drama, The Runner Stumbles. Her acting capabilities has allowed her to transcend the silver screen as she rose in popularity in television series such as Falcon Crest, General Hospital, The Young and the Restless, Criminal Minds, Southland, Baskets and Transparent. She was notable for her roles in Behind the Candelabra, and indie productions such as A Rose For Emily. A dedicated member of the Actor’s Studio, Kramer showcased her talent on stage, including a memorable performance in My Sister In This House at Deaf West Theatre alongside Deanne Bray.

Casey Kramer was the daughter of Stanley and Anne Pearce. Her older brother, Lawrence Kramer, predeceased her in 2010. Casey Kramer’s father is the renowned Stanley Kramer who was a prolific American film director well known for his classics such as The Defiant Ones, Guess Who’s Coming To Dinner, On the Beach and It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World.
