Former Warner Bros and Disney Executive Karen K. Miller Appointed at Hidden Pigeon

Miller, previously served as the president and CEO of Cyber Group Studios' U.S. division, brings a wealth of experience from her extensive career in the entertainment industry. By: Wee Yan Ling

Miller had spent a total of four years at NBCUniversal, eight years at The Walt Disney Company and an impressive 17 years at Warner Bros. Her roles include Senior VP of content at Universal Kids, VP of acquisitions and global strategy for Disney Channels Worldwide, and producer and acquisitions executive at Warner Bros.

Kathy Franklin, who served as CEO of Hidden Pigeon Company (HPC) will transition into an advisory role. The company was established in early 2023 through a collaboration between children’s book author Mo Willems, Stampede Ventures, and RedBird Capital Partners. This is aimed to widen the influence of Willems’ popular catalogue of children’s books and intellectual properties across diverse entertainment platforms.

Miller had displayed her enthusiasm for the role and has underscored the huge potential to amplify the impact of Mo Willems’ beloved characters on the global scale. As HPC enters a new phase, Miller aims to build upon the existing foundation and bring his characters worldwide through the use of innovative platforms and experiences.

Greg Silverman, CEO and founder of Stampede Ventures and board chairman of HPC has expressed their confidence in Miller’s leadership and foresees an expansion of the development of the pipeline and widespread introduction of Mo Willems’ characters and stories to children across platforms under her guidance.
