Miami Welcomes NATPE Global

With over 1,500 registered delegates, including 700 buyers, the event emphasises its multi-region focus, setting the stage for Content Americas next week. By: Wee Yan Ling

Brunico’s ownership of NATPE Global takes centre stage as the inaugural edition kicks off in Miami, which has attracted more than 1,500 registered delegates. This includes more than 700 buyers at the InterContinental. This is a remarkable step for the renowned content market as it highlights its multi-region approach just ahead of Content Americas in the same city.

During a press conference, Russel Goldstein, President and CEO of Brunico; Claire Macdonald, executive director; and Jen Fitzgerald, senior conference producer had brought attention of how NATPE Global is reinventing itself under the new ownership. Brunico had acquired NATPE assets after the organisation’s bankruptcy and had successfully held its first NATPE Budapest last summer.

Macdonald also displayed excitement being a comprehensive destination for content as buyers hail from North America, Latin America, Europe and a representation of roughly 70 countries. Structured networking is a trademark of Brunico events, is a key feature aty NATPE Global with the NATPE Global Pitch Showcase and a diverse conference schedule featuring industry luminaries.

NATPE Global is held across three floors of exhibitor suites and a bustling market floor which ensures a conducive environment for networking and deal-making. Goldstein had stated that decisions about the 2025 dates and venue will be influenced by the feedback gathered from this year’s event, setting the stage for the future of this international marketplace.
