Apple has recently
disclosed that its services segment, which encompasses Apple TV+, has now
surpassed 2.2 billion active devices. Notably, Apple Music, Arcade, News, and
Podcasts within the Services umbrella boast a staggering 1 billion subscribers.
This remarkable figure represents a doubling of subscribers over the past 4
years.
Apple’s commitment to
groundbreaking innovation continues, as they announce their installed base of
active devices reaching an all-time high across all products and geographic
segments. As customers begin to experience the incredible Apple Vision Pro, the
company remains dedicated to its core values and the well-being of its
customers.
While Apple doesn’t provide
individual figures for its Services, it’s worth noting that several sweetheart
deals have been inked for Apple TV+, extending subscriptions to purchasers of
new Apple products and collaborating with pay-TV operations. Despite this
impressive Services growth, Apple faced a 6% decline in full-year revenue in
2023, primarily due to concerns over iPhone uptake in China.
In summary, Apple’s
Services division continues to enrich users’ lives globally, offering
innovative apps, powerful content, and transformative experiences. Whether it’s
fitness coaching through Apple Fitness+, staying informed with Apple News, or
enjoying entertainment on Apple TV+, the company remains at the forefront of
delivering value to its vast user base.
