wedotv Launches Telenovela in the US
AVOD and FAST Channel provider wedotv is launching a telenovela channel in March 2024. The FAST Channel, called wedo amor, will be available first on Sling Freestream, marking wedotv’s entry. By K Dass.
US - wedotv, the AVOD and FAST Channel
provider, is set to make a splash in the US market with its latest offering. In
March 2024, they will launch a telenovela channel called wedo amor. This
exciting channel will be first available on Sling Freestream.
The wedo amor
schedule will feature captivating telenovelas sourced from producer and
distributor Big Media. With a library of over 7,000 hours of series from RCTV
International, viewers can immerse themselves in dramatic tales of love,
passion, and intrigue.
Telenovelas
have a dedicated fan base, and their binge-worthy nature has made them a
beloved form of entertainment. As Chris Sharp, Co-CEO of wedotv, aptly puts it:
“Telenovelas practically invented the concept of binge watching. They have
dedicated fans who will spend hours watching their favourite characters go
through trials and triumphs, loss and love”.
In addition
to wedo amor, wedotv is making its presence felt in the US through other
channels as well:

satellite, Sling Freestream, and Allen Media Group’s Local Now.
AVOD

now available on Comcast Xfinity set-top boxes and in all major app stores in
