US - Trailers for the highly anticipated upcoming projects Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, The Acolyte and second season of House of the Dragon have launched, stirring up excitement among fans as famous stars shine in new roles or return to beloved ones.

In the trailer for the sequel to Beetlejuice (1988), Michael Keaton and Winona Ryder can be seen reprising their roles as Beetlejuice and Lydia Deetz respectively, while Hollywood scream queen Jenna Ortega is seen as the character Astrid.

Meanwhile, in the trailer for The Acolyte, American actress and singer Amandla Stenberg shines as the titular character, while Lee Jung-jae, the South Korean actor-filmmaker who famously played the main character Gi-Hun in Netflix’s Squid Game (2021-Present), is also featured playing a Jedi Master, his first English-speaking role.

Finally, not one but two trailers for the second season of House of the Dragon were released. HBO released a ‘Green’ and a ‘Black’ trailer, prompting viewers to pick a side in the upcoming season of the Game of Thrones (2011-2019) prequel which is set to depict the Targaryen civil war. Most cast members from Season 1 will return, while newcomers like Simon Russell Beale, Freddie Fox and Abubakar Salim will join the spin-off.

Episodes 1 and 2 of the 8-part Star Wars spin-off The Acolyte premieres on Disney+ June 4, with subsequent episodes releasing weekly. Meanwhile, the 8-episode second season of House of the Dragon begins June 16 on HBO and Max, also with new episodes released weekly. Finally, the horror comedy legacy sequel Beetlejuice Beetlejuice will arrive in theatres on September 6 in the US.
