International Launch for TF1+ Confirmed
TF1 has confirmed plans to extend its recently launched streaming service into additional markets.
TF1 has confirmed plans to extend its recently
launched streaming service, TF1+, into additional markets. The French
commercial broadcaster reports that TF1+ had a “very good start.” During the
first quarter, TF1+ recorded an average of 33 million monthly streamers, with
35 million in March alone—a new record. To put this in context, its
predecessor, MYTF1, had 28 million monthly streamers in 20231. TF1+ will soon
be available in Belgium and Luxembourg starting in June.
Additionally, TF1+ is set to introduce a new
recommendation engine called Synchro, designed to find shows suitable for
multiple family members. In the autumn, customised post-match summaries will
also be available thanks to the relaunch of Top Chromo, an AI-enhanced match
summary system tested during the 2023 Rugby World Cup.
