TVMonaco's programming kicked-off with a dynamic mix of live news and sports coverage, followed by a thoughtfully curated selection of recorded programming throughout the day. While the initial content primarily comprises unscripted shows, there are ambitious plans to introduce scripted programming within the next 12 to 18 months, further enriching the channel's offerings.
One of TVMonaco's distinctive features is its unwavering commitment to environmental concerns and the captivating wildlife of Monaco. Viewers can look forward to content that not only entertains but also raises awareness about the beauty and fragility of our natural world. The channel will be accessible through both linear broadcasting and digital platforms, ensuring its availability to a diverse audience.
Funding for this groundbreaking venture is backed by the Monegasque state, reflecting the principality's commitment to enriching its media landscape. Additional revenue streams will be generated through advertising, opening up opportunities for brands to engage with the channel's audience.
TVMonaco's content will be exclusively in French, showcasing the rich cultural and linguistic heritage of Monaco. Through a partnership with TV5Monde, the channel will extend its reach to audiences in over 200 countries, cementing its place on the global stage.
At the helm of TVMonaco is Salim Zeghdar, who brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the role of CEO/Executive Director. Notably, Zeghdar holds other prominent positions within the Principality, underscoring his dedication to Monaco's media landscape. Assisting in the channel's day-to-day operations is Deputy CEO Nathalie Biancolli, who will play a pivotal role in bringing TVMonaco's vision to life.
