In addition, Reclaim My Summer is set to vie for a prize in the highly competitive Wide Angle Asia Short Film Competition. Taiwan's creative prowess doesn't end there - two promising projects, Mr. Tiger and Appetite for Desire are set to make their mark at the Asian Project Market (APM).

Taiwan Creative Content Agency (TAICCA) will be awarding the winner $10,000 cash prize during the ceremony. The winning project will also be able to work hand in hand with Taiwan’s film industry talent and will be able to apply for TAICCA’s Taiwan International Funding Program (TCIP).

Salli unfolds the story of a woman from a chicken farm flying to Paris in pursuit of her love. The series has attained three accolades at the Hong Kong - Asian Film Financing Forum earlier this year and acquired the investment from TAICCA, including HAF Goes to Cannes.

At the Wide Angle - Asian Short Film Competition, Reclaim My Summer by Chen Hao-Wei delves into the yearnings for independence experienced by a teenager raised within the backdrop of a recycling business.

Asian Contents & Film Market (ACFM) is set to showcase a total of 176 completed titles and projects from 69 Taiwanese film and TV companies to lure international buyers. The co-financed project Malice with support garnered from TAICCA and Kaohsiung Film Fund with the director Lim Lung-Ying spearheading, is announcing an exciting new collaboration in Indonesia which involves leading cast from both countries. This is due to the confirmation of a partnership with Czech company, Lonely Production during Locarno Pro’s Match Me event in the previous year.

Entering the fourth year of partnership, Taiwan is still hosting the Pitch & Match: Taiwanese IP session at Busan Story Market in which ten Taiwan Publications will be presented. For the talent networking event Platform Busan, TAICCA recommended six new directors to attend to make connections with the international film industry.

Happening concurrently as BIFF, the Asia Contents Award & Global OTT Awards has 2 Taiwanese works nominated across 4 categories. Since its inception in 2019 under its original name, Asia Contents Awards, Taiwanese work and talent has been nominated every year. TAICCA will sign an MOU in Busan to deepen exchange between both sides.
