The Eras Tour concert film has attained an impeccable milestone as it crosses the mark of $200 million at the global box office, revealed by the film’s distributor, AMC. The film narrates the illustrious and career-spanning journey of the pop sensation, reached this significant financial milestone merely 3 weeks after its worldwide release on the 13 of October.
The film has raked in an impressive $150 million as of the latest weekend in the domestic market. A substantial portion of the revenue is derived from the United States and Canada with the income of $24,575,184 whereas the remaining $6,494,750 is derived across 95 international territories where the film is being screened.
The film is set to expand in more international markets from 2 November, into countries such as Brazil, Hong Kong, Indonesia, India, Singapore and South Korea.
Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour has claimed the title as the fifth-highest grossing theatrical release of the year. This is evident from its ticket sales of a staggering $92.8 million in United States alone.
