Liga Portugal lands on FITE Platform

Reputable sports streaming hub FITE gained the broadcasting rights to Liga Portugal for markets in territories such as UK and Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and Scandinavia, until 2026. By: Dylan Low

From December 2 onwards, FITE will be broadcasting Liga Portugal matches live in English language. The deal will start from the twelfth matchday of the season, as it entails the remainder of the season and the whole of the 2025/2026 season.

The collaboration with Liga Portugal, signifies a component of FITE’s broader plans to extend its football coverage, as seen in their latest incorporation of the AFC Champions League on the platform.

Adam Bigwood, Vice President of subscriptions at FITE, stated, “This exclusive deal, with one of Europe’s finest leagues, highlights our dedication to providing diverse and premium sports content to our global audience. As we continue to expand our football offerings, FITE remains at the forefront of delivering superior sports and entertainment through our advanced technology platform.”

The agreement with Liga Portugal was managed by the sports marketing company Sportfive, the representative for FITE.
