WBD Platforms to Premiere Six Care Bears Specials in EMEA & Latin America

Rollout of new Care Bears specials continue in the EMEA and Latin America on WBD channels throughout this year. By Ching Wai.

EMEA, Latin America - Cloudco Entertainment’s Care Bears: Unlock the Magic will be debuting six new animated specials on Warner Bros. Discovery’s (WBD) channels Cartoonito and HBO Max/Max across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), and on Max in Latin America.

Cartoonito and HBO Max/Max will begin the rollouts this summer for the EMEA, though the premiere dates for the individual EMEA countries differ. Max has already launched the first special in March this year in Latin America, and will progressively release the other specials in April, July, September, October and November.

The specials series has already premiered on U.K.’s TV channel POP, Canada’s Family Channel, Australia’s Channel 9, and TVNZ in New Zealand. Rollout has begun in the U.S. as well, with specials releasing until November.

Having come into existence in 1981 and first featuring in 1983 animated TV special The Care Bears in the Land Without Feelings, the Care Bears have won the hearts of many around the world and across generations. The rollout of these specials will therefore not only entertain children, but also viewers of all ages.

With the help of these broadcasters, these mini-movies will build upon the success of our season one episodes, enhance the overall Care Bears experience and make for multiple must-watch events.”

The new specials are titled The Quest for the Rainbow Stone, Grumpy’s Ginormous Adventure, The Star of a Thousand Wishes, The Mystery of the Snickering Ghost, The Bad Crowd Strikes Back!, and The No Heart Games.
