Charman's new role is slated to commence on September 1st, with her operating from Eccho's London headquarters. Prior to this appointment, Charman served as VP of EMEA at Avalon Distribution, boasting an extensive career encompassing stints at Entertainment One, MGM, and Warner Bros International Production.

As Director of Sales, Tess Charman will take the reins for continental Europe and Pan-Regional sales, with the exception of Iberia. Her role will center on Eccho's diverse portfolio of English and Nordic language productions. With the company's proactive approach to devising new investment models, Charman's influence will extend to cultivating partnerships with platforms and broadcasters, further propelling high-end projects into the market. Eccho Rights is also placing an enhanced focus on co-productions, an approach that involves acquiring projects at their developmental stages and collaborating with multiple broadcasters.
