Into Film and Aardman Announce Exciting New Animation Course

Primary school pupils and teachers can look forward to a brand-new animation course tailored for them, which provides various resources and animation training. By: Theng Min Yee

In a bid to kickstart the new academic year with a creative twist, Into Film and Aardman have proudly unveiled their latest educational collaboration, featuring the launch of a captivating animation course titled "Animate! with Aardman." This course is specifically tailored for Primary School educators and their students.

Additionally, the partnership introduces a special cinematic event featuring Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget, the sequel to the highest-grossing stop-motion animated film of all time, Chicken Run. The Into Film Festival, set for November 24th, will showcase special preview screening events across the UK. Bookings for the Into Film Festival will be available to all UK educators, free of charge, starting on Thursday, September 7th, via www.intofilm/festival.

"Animate! with Aardman," a collaborative effort by Aardman, Into Film, and Netflix, brings the enchantment of stop-motion filmmaking directly into the classroom. Experts from Aardman, renowned for animation classics like Wallace and Gromit and Shaun the Sheep, offer a step-by-step video guide to crafting simple yet captivating stop-motion masterpieces with young learners.

Launching on September 19th, this course is designed to empower young people to create animated projects using readily available equipment and free motion apps. Each instructional video is complemented by educational resources and teacher support to navigate the creative process, and participants have the opportunity to join a live webinar with an Aardman Director.
