The 43-year-old is slated to receive the prestigious Icon Award at the 37th Annual Achievement Awards which is hosted by Footwear News. The ceremony will be taking place at Cipriani South Street in New York City on November 29.

Simpson’s journey has been groundbreaking as she rises to overcome all odds. A press also stated that “Jessica Simpson has become one of fashion’s longest-running success stories.” The release highlighted the success of The Jessica Simpson Collection, her fashion line founded in 2005 in collaboration with her mother, Tina.
