Actress Tiffany Haddish Arrested after Allegedly Falling Asleep Behind the Wheel
Award-winning actress Tiffany Haddish, 43, has been arrested and is currently facing a DUI charge following an incident where she was found allegedly asleep behind the wheel of her car in Beverly Hills. By: Wee Yan Ling
Tiffany Haddish was arrested on Friday morning and is confronting a DUI charge after she was caught in the middle of Beverly Drive with her vehicle running.
Beverly Hills Police Department (BHPD) reported that they had received a call around 5:45 a.m. When the police arrived, they found Haddish asleep at the wheel. The actress was expected to be released from jail after Friday.
Haddish had participated in the Laugh Factory’s 43rd annual free Thanksgiving feast the night before her arrest. Authorities had received another call around midnight, 2:30 a.m. with the report of a driver who had knocked out at the wheel on Highway 74. The officers had identified a vehicle with aligns with the description from the 911 call and conducted a traffic stop.
The results of the investigation of Haddish’s arrest were for Driving Under the Influence (DUI). She was taken to Fayette County Jail.
