Inkhouse Media Unveils a Cinematic Odyssey

Inkhouse Media, is set to embark on a cinematic journey delving into the life and legacy of Tan Sri P. Ramlee, Malaysia's iconic entertainment luminary. By: Wee Yan Ling

 

Inkhouse Media Pte Ltd have collaborated with Inkhouse Pictures Sdn Bhd for a revolutionary cinematic venture that transcends geographical borders. Spearheaded by Dato' Khairul Anwar Salleh, the former vice president of Astro Malaysia and Chief Executive Officer of Media Prima Television Networks and Primeworks Studios.

“To fulfil our vision, we have carefully selected experienced partners who share our passion for storytelling and innovation,” said Dato’ Khairul Anwar Salleh. “Our strategic alliances with Dream Forest Stories (Singapore), Soho Moon Pictures (Ireland), Silver Wolf International (Singapore), and Adlin Aman Ramlie, a renowned creative talent in Malaysia, provide us with invaluable expertise and resources to produce world-class content,” he added. 

Inkhouse is proud to unveil its latest project, a biopic chronicling the life and enduring legacy of the cinematic maestro Tan Sri P. Ramlee. Aptly titled P. Ramlee - Jeritan Batinku. P. Ramlee’s influence remains timeless as he is a revered icon that is celebrated for his diverse contributions, ranging from acting, singing, directing and songwriting.

The film delves into the layers of the legend and uncovers P.Ramlee’s journey from his humble beginnings to becoming a national treasure. "P. Ramlee was a true visionary who defied boundaries and redefined Singapore and Malaysia entertainment. With this biopic, we aim to capture the essence of this extraordinary man and showcase his enduring legacy," Dato’ Khairul Anwar Salleh added.

The film will explore the hidden facets of P. Ramlee's life, delving into his personal struggles and triumphs. It will portray his tumultuous marriages, the envy he faced from his contemporaries, and his unwavering passion for his craft.
