The launch event took place after a celebration of casting portal I Am Casting, an agency by Singaporean actor and comedian Irene Ang who stated her goal to take the services worldwide. Ang explained that the portal was made for the group of actors across different ages, ranging from potential young stars to veteran and experienced actors.

Ang mentioned it is never too late to begin an acting career. 64-year-old Pansringarm, supported that viewpoint, stating that he began acting at 50 and has contributed to around 70 projects to date, collaborating with directors from 18 different nationalities. His projects encompass Dante Lam’s Operation Mekong, Tom Waller’s The Last Executioner, Jean-Stéphane Sauvaire’s A Prayer Before Dawn and Nicolas Winding Refn’s Only God Forgives, working with Ryan Gosling and Kristin Scott Thomas.

Pansringarm also claimed he was frequently urged to relocate to Los Angeles. “I do have a manager there but I feel like I want to work near my house, my home, and I consider also Singapore as part of my home, I have many close friends living here. So when I meet the team of Baby Hero, the first thing I felt was that they really, genuinely want me to create something really special,” Pansringarm answered.
