Jeremy Renner has unveiled his future career plans after the horror accident that threatened his life. He will be heading back to his acting role in Mayor of Kingstown to film the third instalment. By: Dylan Low
Renner was in a near-fatal accident on January 1st 2023, when he rescued his nephew from colliding with a snowplow. The notable Marvel star was hit by his own Sno-Cat, weighing up to 14,330 pounds, causing blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries to Renner who had to be treated in the hospital.
With Renner in his recovery phase, he spoke with Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper during the CNN New Year’s Eve special regarding his physical therapy, alongside his upcoming album.
“We have a lot to celebrate this year,” Renner claimed. “I’m so blessed that I had so many things to live for. I have a giant family, a 10-year-old daughter. I would have disappointed and messed up a lot of people’s lives if I passed. There’s a lot for me to fight for. Recovery is a one-way road in my mind. I still work hard every day.”
Renner was also asked about him coming back to work on the third season of Kingstown.
“It’s been a wonderfully busy year,” he stated. “I think I’m ready, and I think I’m strong enough. I literally go back in a week.”
