The famous Fast & Furious franchise made yet another return to the cinemas with the latest film Fast X. Featuring plenty of new and recurring characters, it offers many threads and set-pieces that fans of the films will certainly enjoy for a fun and furious ride.
The instalment features the return of Vin Diesel, a fan-favourite name who portrays Dominic Toretto.
Another highlight of the film was the casting of Jason Momoa who takes up the role as Dante Reyes, the son of Hernan Reyes who was the antagonist in 2011 movie Fast Five. Momoa’s debut as the new antagonist forms the plot of Fast X.
Centred around family matters, the film showcases the concept of fatherhood through the main character Dominic with his family after the events of the prior movies. Things take a turn when Dante seeks revenge, causing a high-stakes globe-trotting adventure to take place, with the protagonists putting their driving skills and personal ethos on the line, unexpected alliances are created and broken, as the action-packed scenes will definitely provide fans thrill and excitement.
The acclaimed film has been well-liked by audiences around the world. The latest addition to the Fast & Furious winning awards and nominations in notable film festivals, a notable example being the 2023 Golden Penguin award as the Outstanding Theatrical Film of the Year.
