Set in a fictional city, the series follows Mayor Amir Kaan (Steven Sowah) and scientist Petra Schach (Maria Hofstätter) as they embark on a revolutionary experiment. The local prison is shut down, and inmates are reintegrated through work, housing, therapy, and addressing their crimes. The narrative uncovers the challenges faced by former offenders and examines the perspectives of those striving for their rehabilitation.
