TAIPEI, Taiwan - This strategic cooperation signifies investment in high-end intellectual property and is a game-changing venture into the creative content industry, utilising ROG SAGA, a universe made by the notable Republic of Gamers (ROG), a gaming endorsed brand of ASUS, to change the future of ACG (Anime, Comics, and Games) content production in Taiwan.
ASUS Co-CEO S.Y. Hsu makes clear the company's dedication to innovation and breakthroughs, saying, “ROG SAGA represents ASUS's inaugural leap into digital content production and is a pioneering world-class intellectual property project promoted by Taiwan's technology industry, signalling a significant milestone. Through our collaboration with TAICCA, we aim to amplify the presence of ROG SAGA on the global stage, actively pursue international production partnerships, and attract investment from cultural and creative funds, thereby advancing Taiwan's content and creative industries.”
Homme Tsai, Chairman of the Taiwan Creative Content Agency (TAICCA), highlighted that Taiwan's technology industry owns a leading role internationally. He praised ASUS, a trending name in the technology sector, for directing an innovative integrated investment project working alongside TAICCA. With the recent news by the Ministry of Culture about the “T-Comics – Directions for Production of Taiwanese Comics Series” in the “1 plus 4 T content Plan”, TAICCA aims to make use of Taiwan's robust and strong technology industry, coupled with the rich and diverse cultural content of Taiwan. The main objective is to lead Taiwan's Animation, Comics, and Games (ACG) content industry to its full potential, acquiring international experience from story development, comic creation, animation, game production, and surpassing new boundaries in the worldwide market.
The cooperation of ASUS and TAICCA looks to boost Taiwan's impact in the global creative content market, setting up international partnerships, and drawing investment to push the ACG industry forward.
