Titles from Be-Entertainment are enjoying continued success with all mentioned shows growing in market share. By Ching Wai.
Belgium - Multiple series on Be-Entertainment have enjoyed great success so far this year, achieving strong market shares in Dutch-speaking Belgium. On VTM, shows seeing success include The Way Out, Going Once, Going Twice, and The Big Job Switch. Success hits Play4 too with the series The Musical Of Your Life.
The Way Out is a prime time family entertainment hit programme that is currently on its fifth season. The show brings together two different celebrity duos and puts them into two identical rooms filled with problems to be solved. Like an escape room, the celebrities have to figure things out, from conducting scientific experiments to figuring out codes, to try to figure The Way Out first. The latest season has already accumulated a 36.3% (PRP 18-44) average market share after four episodes.
The current third season of Going Once, Going Twice launched last Thursday, 14 March, in primetime. Its first episode reached an average market share of 26.5% (PRP 18-44, Live +7), which exceeded the channel average market by 32%. Similar to The Way Out, celebrities compete each week. On Going Once, Going Twice, they compete to find, buy, repair and sell valuables, and the celebrity pair with the most profits wins.
The Big Job Switch is a social experiment in which five individuals resign from their jobs and a group of experts search for their ideal job. Its second season launched last Thursday in second prime, and captured a consolidated 27% (PRP 18-44) average market share. This is an increase of 34% as compared to the channel average.
The Musical Of Your Life is a celebrity tribute studio entertainment show on Play4. Its third series has an average share of 34.2% (PRP 18-44 consolidated), an increase of 185% to the channel’s average market share. Continued growth for these and other programmes from Be-Entertainment can be expected.
