Somers has revealed her recurrence of breast cancer back in July. She was first diagnosed with cancer back in 2021.

“Suzanne Somers passed away peacefully at home in the early morning hours of October 15th. She survived an aggressive form of breast cancer for over 23 years,” Somers’ longtime publicist R. Couri Hay wrote in a statement shared on behalf of the actress’ family.

“Suzanne was surrounded by her loving husband Alan, her son Bruce, and her immediate family,” the statement continued. “Her family was gathered to celebrate her 77th birthday on October 16th. Instead, they will celebrate her extraordinary life, and want to thank her millions of fans and followers who loved her dearly.”

Suzanne Somers enjoyed a diverse career that spanned numerous decades, but she gained her greatest recognition for her portrayal of Chrissy Snow in the popular ABC sitcom "Three's Company," which aired during the late 1970s and early 1980s.

Following her success on the show, she ventured into the world of literature, authoring 27 books, including "Sexy Forever," "Knockout," and "Ageless." Additionally, she took on the role of a talk show host and ventured into the wellness industry, largely propelled by her iconic association with the ThighMaster, which transformed her into a fitness symbol.
