Season 2 of The Recruit showcases lawyer Owen Hendricks, played by Noah Centineo, “pulled into a life-threatening espionage situation in South Korea, only to realize that the bigger threat just might be coming from inside the Agency.” according to the official logline.

Yoo earned a nomination for the best lead performance Independent Spirit Award for his role in Celine Song’s Past Lives starring alongside Greta Lee. Also, he was casted in Park Chan-Wook’s romantic mystery Decision to Leave.  His featured films consist of Leto, Black Money, Vertigo and Seoul Searching. For television series, he was the main lead in Netflix Korea’s Love to Hate You, additionally making appearances in Dr. Brain, The Window, Monday Game, Vagabond, The Cravings, Arthdal Chronicles and Chocolate.

The first season of The Recruit started with Owen finding a letter during his first week in CIA from ex-asset Max Meladze (Laura Haddock), threatening to unveil the agency’s secrets to the public unless they clear her of a monumental offence. As he tries to complete his tasks and make his name at the CIA, Owen finds himself in a harsh world of influential politics and individuals.

The series was produced by filmmaker Alexi Hawley, executive produced by names such as Centineo, Doug Liman, Gene Klein, David Bartis, Adam Ciralsky, Charlie Ebersol and Julian Holmes. eOne is the production studio of the series.
