Description
This crime documentary showcases the story of three men working together to stop a criminal from continuing a terror attack at Fishmongers’ Hall. The movie meticulously pans out the story of these men at the venue and the incident that took place that day.
It dictates the events that happened on 29th November 2019. Darryn Frost, Steven Gallant and John Crilly were together at Fishmonger’s Mall near London Bridge, when a terror attack suddenly happened. Convicted terrorist Usman Khan started the attack, having a violent outburst during an ongoing conference on prisoner rehabilitation. The three men swiftly brought him down and ended the commotion.
Despite looking like a story of ‘heroes’ taking down the ‘villain' with valiant passers-by stepping in to suppress the terrorist and save lives, the truth appears to be much more complicated.
The narrative changed when Steven and John’s past criminal records and convictions were revealed. This story showcases a unique yet compelling perspective on morality and gives a deeper insight on what determines a ‘good’ or a ‘bad’ person, to be a ‘hero’ or a ‘villain’. It also delves into the meaning of justice, redemption, rehabilitation and punishment.
With the story narrated by these three men, they reveal their personal histories and backgrounds and thought processes of the events that took place. They also share how the pre-existing criminal records affected how the media portrayed them and their actions.
This story will undoubtedly keep you gripped to the edge of your seat, as you will be interested to find out more about how the media portrays the ex-criminals after their heroic actions during the terror attack.
