Dandelooo Takes the Reins for Worldwide Distribution of Marcel, Father Christmas

Dandelooo, is renowned for their Emmy Award-winning contributions to the world of French animation and has planned to spread festive cheer worldwide with its latest acquisition, Marcel, Father Christmas (and the little pizza delivery boy. The strategic deal with French production company Xbo films has granted Dandelooo to secure the exclusive rights for the worldwide distribution. 

The series features musical talents of Marcel Merlot and Cedryck Santens and is not a conventional holiday story. The series blends a mixture of fun, tenderness paired with a modern musical twist that is suitable for kids of all ages. The series is scheduled to premiere on Canal+ Kids on December 24th, 2023, aligning with the festive season to deliver an enchanting Christmas.

The story unfolds on the eve of December 24th, somewhere in a dull and gloomy suburb, young Abdou, a dreamy pizza delivery boy, meets Marcel, the real Father Christmas.  Marcel is tired, worn out and waiting for retirement but that evening a silly scooter accident jeopardizes his delivery rounds.  However, thanks to Abdou, who enlists the help of some unusual characters from his neighbourhood, the Christmas deliveries go ahead as planned. Marcel, Father Christmas (and the little pizza delivery boy) is a beautiful story of friendship where myths and reality, laughter and tears collide against a backdrop of tenderness.
